First Friday with Sat

My blogs about Sat's trip will probably be on the sketchy rather than the detailed side, partly because there is so much to write and partly because I am filling up the evenings of my last week (in order for the time to go quickly) and I may not have much time to blog.

So Friday lie in til 9am for me (but the equivalent of 6am in the morning for Sat), breakfast, relax and then out to the Mall of The Emirates to go sunglasses shoping. Unfortunately the sunglasses Sat wanted (to replace ones which were stolen in London) were double the price that he wpuld pay in the UK, which was already double the price that Sat paid for the original pair in the USA. After going to all the optical shops we did find a pair in the last shop that fitted really well.

We then took a taxi to a meeting place by the World Trade Centre to join a desert safari. The other week I had gone out to dinner with a colleague and a French lawer that she had placed out here. Claire (the French lawer) invited me to join her company + friends and family 'do'......


Do you know what? It is 20 to midnight and I'm suddenly really tired. I'll tell you more about tyhe desert safari tomorrow plus photos.
